E) 3 large properties in Rue de la Chabanne used for housing established members and recruits;
F) several buildings in Rue Fontanier used for unknown purposes.

They continuously claim that all the evidence and testimony, amassed from victims, is motivated by malicious envy! They make no effort to admit guilt or seek forgiveness from the families harmed. Nothing comes from this cult but self-justification, blustering, and weeping and wailing for the fact that their past history is now in the public domain.
Depravity exists and we are all aware that there are dangerous paedophiles at large. However, what is remarkable about the Godson case is that respectability and status blinded some who knew them to the true horror of their crimes and, to an extent, protected them from the public outrage that normally follows the exposure of such appalling acts against children.
The Godson Cult have purchased about 20 houses in the Benevent l’Abbaye area. The bait used to increase membership/funds is a bunch of teenage girls drawn in by pseudo religiosity into a web of depravity. The girls are generally too ashamed to tell anyone about the “extra” jobs they are commissioned to do.
Evidently to escape the barrage of negative newsmedia plaguing the cult because of continuous reports of sexual rape and child molesting, they’ve changed their organization’s name umpteen times.
They cover their depravity with sickening sanctimonious clap trap.
Cult leaders are not stupid by any means.
Chris and Clare Godson certainly know how to fleece their victims and put the money to work!
Just how do the Godsons continue to market their cult of depravity and cruelty?
It is true that the cult leader or religious founder often shows signs of brain disease, such as hearing voices or having delusions of grandeur.
But the followers need not be mad. Some are undoubtedly deranged, but most probably are not. The cult leader must be extremely attractive to those who convert. He or she must satisfy a fundamental need, most likely the need to have someone you can totally trust, depend on and believe in: someone who can give sense and direction to your life; provide you with purpose and meaning. But above all, life with the messiah and the other cult members must satisfy some fundamental need. Some studies have found that a significant number of cult members are depressed before joining, and the cult lifts their spirits, makes them feel much better. Even if they aren’t depressed, cult membership must be more satisfying than life in the real world with one’s real family.
Cult members may gradually become paranoid and be led to believe that the government, their family, and former friends can’t be trusted. They may gradually become more isolated and militant. They may even begin to stockpile weapons for the coming Armageddon. They may turn themselves over completely to their savior and be willing to kill or die for him or her. This is not to say that they are leading meaningful lives, but they are not necessarily lunatics, morons, or zombies.
And, at this point it is appropriate to worry about the stock-pile of semi-automatic weapons hidden/buried by Chris and Clare Godson somewhere close to Benevent l’Abbaye. We understand from disaffected former cult members that the weapons were obtained in Ireland from the many paramilitary sources available.
Children may resist reporting sexual abuse because they are afraid of angering the offender, blame themselves for the abuse or feel guilty and ashamed. The Godson couple shamelessly exploit this fear in their victims and it took some time for the accounts of horrendous abuse to surface in Ireland by which time Chris and Clare Godson had fled to France.
We have discovered from our in-depth interviews with victims that children are more likely to reveal sexual abuse when talking to someone who appears to ‘already know’ and is not judgmental, critical or threatening.
They also tend to disclose when they believe continuation of the abuse will be unbearable; they are physically injured; or they receive sexual abuse prevention information. Other reasons may be to protect another child drawn into the cult by Chris and Clare Godson.
The victims of Chris and Clare Godson we have interviewed in Ireland are motivated by a desire to protect the vulnerable and innocent…………………obviously some crave revenge/justice for all that they suffered.

Paul Melnick-Brogan contacted us in 2010. He feels it very necessary to communicate the unhappy experience his family had with Clare Godson in Ireland:
“my fourteen year old daughter became absolutely dominated by Clare Godson.
I don’t know anything about the paedophile stuff. My experience was that we gradually LOST our daughter to them. She gave up all her musical interests and picked fights with friends.
Eventually, I snapped! Anger had been building up in my ex-wife and myself for months. I banned my daughter from seeing Clare Godson.
We had every imaginable temper tantrum! Our daughter even attempted suicide.
This “ban” was followed by an extraordinary campaign of villification by Clare Godson. Clare Godson circulated anonymous poison pen letters throughout our village area claiming that we sexually abused our daughter. This was a totally terrifying experience and it has taken seven years to recover from the evil influence of Clare Godson.
Clare Godson exhibits extreme paranoia and sets upon anyone who crosses or slights her. We thought we were a unique case until we came across this Blog.”

Our Reporter: Robert Cahill met up with a former employee of Chris Godson at a pre-arranged date in a restaurant over 30 km from Benevent l'Abbaye such is the fear former workers for Godson confess!
Trying, desperately, to keep his identity from discovery by the Godsons our interview subject confirmed:
that Godson had employed him without any form of contract (statutory under French law);
that Godson had not disclosed his employment to the relevant authorities and thus he found himself totally un-insured during all the jobs he had done for Godson T.P. ;
that Godson paid him a pittance for long back-breaking hours because he was unqualified and virtually broke in France;
our interview subject states that he knows the names of other employees since 2004 who were not registered with the authorities and not legally employed by Godson, our interview subject also states that he knows the names of two people who were below employment age and who were exploited shamelessly by Godson;
he also states that he had a terrible insight into the unacceptable working practices of Godson;
our interview subject states that Godson invoiced for materials that were not used on the job and that Godson routinely lied about materials used! These materials would be "siphoned" off into the next job and Godson would make a great show of being generous with time and materials................................and thus lower the guard of the next client jst in time for another little bit of cheating.

In amongst the gloomy emails about Chris and Clare Godson we received in 2010-13 we extracted/edited the following communication from an English builder living in St. George la Pouge who had met Chris and Clare Godson at a party.
Instantly, he felt uneasy in their presence but knew nothing about their secretive cult.
He apparently, in all innocence, said that he heard that Chris Godson was a “plumber.”
Apparently Godson, almost foaming at the mouth, snottily told him that he was a “Civil Engineer” and very certainly a cut above the brutish English artisans bodging away in La Creuse.
A “snobby” NUTTER!
Quite what is so distinguished about digging holes and fitting fosse septiques we will never know!
Anyway, our friend in St. George la Pouge was not impressed with them.

Detective Inspector Paul Kennea said, “Jonathan Godson was a prolific supplier of indecent images of children and it is likely this behaviour would have continued if he was not caught.
”He not only downloaded indecent images of children, but actively shared them with others, thus encouraging further offending, and further adding to the suffering of victims.
”He possessed thousands of images of children and hours of video.
”Every indecent image of children contains a victim of crime, and we will continue to actively pursue people who are connected to indecent images offences, whether that is the production, distribution or possession of such images.”

Today, a good many people are dead, dying, ill, malfunctioning, crippled or developing improperly as a result of their involvement with cults in Europe, the USA, Asia. Some of them are being exploited, end up their lives and energies are being used for the benefit of a cult leader or his organization rather than themselves.
